Early life and high school
editBundalo attended three different high schools, starting at Green High School before transferring to Western Reserve Academy and ending up at Prolific Prep.[1][2] As a sophomore he averaged 12.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game and earned all-district honorable mention.[3] Ahead of his senior year, Bundalo averaged 14.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 12 games for the Wildcat Select on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.[4] He was chosen to participate in the 2025 McDonald's All-American Boys Game after the end of his senior year.[5]
Recruiting
editComing out of high school, Bundalo was rated as a five-star recruit, the 7th best power forward and the 26th overall player in the class of 2025.[6] He received offers from schools such as Alabama, UCLA, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Louisville, Washington, Kentucky, UConn, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Pitt, Texas and Xavier.[7][8] Bundalo initially narrowed his top four schools down to Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, and UConn.[9] However, he quickly re-opened his recruiting, while also not considering his previous top 4 schools.[10] Bundalo ultimately committed to play college basketball for the Washington Huskies.[11]
